Description
Coming from Reimonenq in Guadeloupe, this rum was distilled in November 2014 from pure sugar cane juice.
After a brief rest period on the island, the distillate headed to Liverpool for aging in ex-Bourbon casks in January 2015 for 10 long years. It was therefore in January 2025 that it was bottled, cask strength, totaling 244 bottles.
With a fresh, light and spicy profile, it delivers notes of tropical fruits and citrus fruits such as mango, pineapple or orange. It also has a light vegetal note reminiscent of freshly pressed sugar cane. The ex-Bourbon barrel in which the nectar rested has endowed it with a vanilla pod as well as a full handful of nuts (walnuts and almonds)
Of a certain complexity, it nevertheless remains accessible and will take you on a soft and smooth finish.
