Distilled in 2016 at Trinidad Distillers Limited on a heavy column still, this rum spent its first 8 years aging under the tropical climate of Trinidad before completing its maturation in Europe. The combination of intense tropical aging and slower continental maturation has created a rum with remarkable depth, balance, and complexity.

Tasting Notes
Nose

Ripe mango, grilled pineapple, and papaya intertwine with vanilla, caramelized cane sugar, and orange zest. Layers of fresh mint, subtle menthol, polished oak, roasted almonds, and a touch of fine tobacco add elegance and complexity.

Palate

Rich and oily, bursting with tropical fruit. Juicy mango, peach, and passion fruit are balanced by honey, brown sugar, and citrus oils. As the rum evolves, notes of licorice, toasted oak, black pepper, and a subtle mineral character emerge.

Finish

Long, warming, and beautifully persistent, with candied orange peel, vanilla, dry oak, light tobacco, and lingering tropical fruit.
